Ciudad de México.- La diputada local de Movimiento Ciudadano en Jalisco, Mara Robles compartió en su cuenta de Twitter la petición publicada en Change.org para que el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador AMLO, use cubrobocas.
Esto luego que el tema del uso de cubrebocas ha sido un tema polémico para el presidente, pues señala que no se ha comprodado científicamente que su portación ayude a combatir el virus de esta pandemia.
Ante esto, Mara Robles hizo lanzó la petición para que usuarios firmen que AMLO pueda portar cubrebocas para poner el ejemplo al pueblo.
“Científicos internacionales sostienen que portar cubrebocas limita el contagio de #COVID19. Respetuosamente le solicito a usted, señor presidente: use cubrebocas, eso impulsaría que millones de mexicanos que confían en usted se convenzan de hacerlo”, escribió la diputada.
¿Qué dice la OMS sobre el uso de cubrebocas?
El sitio web de la OMS habilitó una sección de preguntas y respuestas en torno al uso de cubrebocas, donde se abordan varios puntos sobre su papel respecto a la propagación o prevención del coronavirus COVID-19.
“Aunque muchas personas utilizan mascarillas higiénicas de tela en zonas públicas, existen escasas pruebas de su eficacia y la OMS no recomienda su uso generalizado por la población como medida de control de la COVID-19”, refirió el máximo organismo sanitario.
