Culiacán, Sin.- Las consultas por problemas respiratorios en el área de urgencias del Hospital Civil de Culiacán, van en aumento esta temporada, informó Everardo Quevedo Castro, director de este nosocomio.
Dio a conocer que ante los cambios bruscos de temperatura, las atenciones por gripes, tos e influenza van en aumento en las últimas semanas, con al menos seis pacientes diarios en el área de urgencias, con un incremento de un 20 por ciento.
Precisó que en los últimos días dos personas han requerido hospitalización por agravarse su problema respiratorio, de los cuales, una mujer de 80 años de edad perdió la vida a consecuencia de agudizarse un cuadro de influencia y neumonía.
Exhortó a la población a protegerse de los cuadros bruscos de temperatura y abrigarse correctamente durante las noches, ya que en algunas ocasiones se siguen presentando bajas temperaturas sobre todo en horario nocturno y madrugada.
