Los Mochis, Sin.- Con gran participación ciudadana se llevó a cabo en la Universidad Autónoma Indígena de México el Foro de Consulta Ciudadana para integrar el Plan Municipal de Desarrollo, bajo el tema “Bienestar y Desarrollo con Humanismo”, ejercicio organizado por la Secretaría de Bienestar y el COPLAM, por instrucción del Alcalde Antonio Menéndez De Llano Bermúdez.
El Secretario de Bienestar, Joaquín Páez Roiz, destacó que la clave del éxito de estos encuentros ha sido escuchar a la gente en sus comunidades y dar prioridad a las zonas rurales.
“Desde que entramos en esta administración, el Presidente Municipal nos instruyó a iniciar los programas sociales en los ejidos y comunidades más alejadas, de afuera hacia adentro. Hoy la ciudadanía siente que se le toma en cuenta y que sus propuestas son la base de este plan de desarrollo”, subrayó.
Por su parte, Magaly Herrera Miranda, Directora de Atención y Participación Ciudadana, informó que ya se han realizado nueve foros, cuatro en la zona urbana y el resto en sindicaturas, con una asistencia de hasta 900 personas por evento.
“Piden servicios básicos como alumbrado y pavimentación, pero también solicita talleres gratuitos, rehabilitación de parques y espacios para jóvenes. Pese al clima y horarios, la respuesta ha sido muy positiva; la ciudadanía llena sus formularios y participa activamente”, señaló.
Durante el encuentro, el académico jubilado Jesús Castañeda Cortés compartió una reflexión y la importancia de promover un envejecimiento saludable. Con un programa que él mismo financia con recursos de su pensión, hizo un llamado a los gobiernos a mirar hacia estos temas.
“Vamos a ser viejos y debemos pensar qué tipo de viejos queremos ser: saludables o patológicos. Nadie me apoya, yo invierto parte de mi jubilación en atender a la gente que acude a mí. Ojalá las autoridades den más importancia a este sector de la población”, expresó.
El foro concluyó con la recepción de propuestas que serán integradas al nuevo Plan Municipal de Desarrollo, reafirmando el compromiso que tienen la administración encabezada por el Presidente Antonio Menéndez con la inclusión, la participación ciudadana y la atención a los sectores más vulnerables.
